Trail Running

Coast Mountain Trail Running (CMTR) hosts a collection of quality, challenging, professionally run trail events in world class destinations around Vancouver's North Shore and Sea to Sky Corridor.

CMTR has donated over $255,000 to local trail, Search and Rescue, and other community organizations, including SORCA, WORCA, NSMBA, ACC, Squamish SAR, Coquitlam SAR and North Shore SAR. Our goal going forward is to contribute over $50,000 annually to these great organizations.

One of the most historic ultras in the country (since 1997), Diez Vista has developed an incredibly loyal following, attracting some of the biggest names in ultra running.



Survival of the Fittest

Held on the formidable Squamish trail network, revel in the theory of evolution as you cross Darwin's early on, and test your faith above the rapids on Carpenter's Son near the end.



Buckin’ Hell

35 km, 50 km, 50 km relay

Featuring 35km, 50km and two person 50km relay options. The race is hosted at the incredibly scenic Mt Seymour Resort, North Vancouver with runners enjoying the Mount Seymour trail network.

The Squamish 50 races are TOUGH, truly unforgettable trail running experiences. With our marquee 50 mile race boasting over 90% singletrack and more than 11,000 feet of climbing and descent, topped off by stunning sweeping vistas across glaciated snow capped peaks that jut straight out of the Pacific Ocean, these courses are sure to take your breath away.
